Stuart Alderoty, Chief Authorized Officer of Ripple Labs, has raised issues about potential conflicts of curiosity involving former SEC official Invoice Hinman. In a tweet, Alderoty highlighted feedback made by crypto critic and former SEC official John Reed Stark, who advised that Hinman must be investigated. The problem reportedly pertains to Hinman’s former function on the SEC and his subsequent work for a regulation agency that has represented Ethereum, a rival cryptocurrency to Ripple’s XRP. Ripple is presently embroiled in a lawsuit with the SEC over allegations of providing securities with out registering them.
