Greater than 1,000 pretend works purporting to be by the First Nations artist Norval Morrisseau are seized and eight individuals have been charged. A report into artists’ pay within the UK has uncovered the inordinately low sums paid to artists for his or her labour by arts organisations. We speak to the artwork collective Industria, who wrote the report, and Julie Lomax, the CEO of a-n, The Artists’ Data Firm, which has revealed the research.
