Open Banking Infrastructure Innovator Axway Acquires e-invoicing Specialist AdValvas

Open Banking infrastructure firm Axway has acquired Belgium-based e-invoicing specialist AdValvas.

The acquisition brings new invoicing and compliance capabilities to Arizona-based Axway.

Axway made its Finovate debut final yr at FinovateSpring in San Francisco.

Open Banking infrastructure firm Axway has made an abroad acquisition. The Arizona-based fintech acquired AdValvas, a Belgium-based e-invoicing processes specialist. The acquisition underscores Axway’s standing as a pacesetter in B2B integration and EDI and brings new invoicing and compliance capabilities to the agency. These new capabilities embrace embedded help for Peppol and French VAT reform – in addition to different B2G (business-to-goverment) and B2B e-invoicing mandates world wide.

Neither Axway nor AdValvas disclosed the quantity of the transaction.

The acquisition comes at a time of better regulatory curiosity in e-invoicing. Regulators are debating new necessities for B2B invoicing in France. Within the EU general, B2G e-invoicing is presently necessary for all public procurements. The pattern towards Steady Transaction Management supplies further impetus for companies to embrace e-invoicing.

The corporate’s services and products can be built-in into Axway’s B2B Integration platform.

Axway made its Finovate debut a yr in the past at FinovateSpring in San Francisco.
