New ‘non-fair’ for art to open in London

As particulars of London’s upcoming October programme proceed to emerge, a brand new ‘non honest’ has been introduced.

The inaugural version of Minor Points of interest will launch two promoting exhibitions between 10 and 15 October, set throughout two venues: the eponymous Minor Points of interest in Soho and Cornershop in London Bridge.

The Cornership venue will prioritise rising London galleries, together with The Artist Room, Collective Ending HQ and Tabula Rasa.

A board of well-known London professionals, together with Tom Hunt of Thaddaeus Ropac, Andrew Wheatley of Cupboard and Maureen Paley have additionally been supporting the occasion.

Entry is free, with the Minor Points of interest venue opening from 4pm to 1am, in a bid to handle “the shortage of areas in London which open previous 11pm”, in addition to the “exclusionary nature of invite-only artwork world occasions throughout Frieze”, in line with the press launch. The Cornership venue will open from 11am to 7pm day by day.
