A haul of gold cash found in North Wales—the primary hoard of Iron Age gold cash ever discovered within the nation—have been formally declared as treasure by a Welsh native authorities official.
The cash had been found by the metallic detectorists Peter Cockton, Lloyd Roberts and Tim Watson on completely different events in a discipline in Llangoed on the isle of Anglesey (from July 2021 and March 2022).
