It's not BS, the concept is really simple. XLM XRP are public chains. Nations will digitize their currencies but it won't be on a public chain because then it's not a local currency anymore. And there is no need for a country like China or Australia to issue a CBDC on a public chain. Instead the idea is that these local currencies can convert to XLM or XRP and move through the XLM XRP network to get to places they need to go and convert again to local currency. That's always been the use case. So, the network that is chosen to conduct these transactions have to have the liquidity. After all, it impossible to send 5 billion dollars when the market is only 3 billion. As usages grows, the value of the network goes up naturally to accommodate the need. So that's always been how things will work. IE USD to XLM send through XLM chain convert to RMB, or whatever. The second most valuable use case is stable coin. A bank can issue stable coins 1 to 1 with local currency and that stable coin can move through XLM XRP network again brings value to it. A government is unlikely to issue a token directly on XLM or XRP. in any case, trillions of dollars will come on chain.
